The stay was delightful, especially enjoying Ms. Mary's homemade breakfast and sipping mint juleps while soaking in the beautiful gardens. Relaxing by the pond and taking part in croquet were perfect ways to unwind. Just a heads up, the parking situation could use a bit of attention, but overall, this place is a hidden gem! 🌟

The grounds are stunning, with beautiful spots to relax by the pond and enjoy activities like croquet. The breakfast was delightful, and the attentive staff truly added to the experience. However, the town's run-down areas were disappointing, and the lack of historical charm compared to the inn left much to be desired. The hotel restaurant offered average dining options, which could be improved.

We had an amazing time exploring the fishing pond by the bridge to the Sanctuary, which is simply beautiful. Our teens loved the croquet court and the expansive gardens were well-maintained and picturesque. The staff really made us feel welcome during our stay.
In my wife’s opinion, a family-friendly pool area would be great.

Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed the croquet court and visited the serene fishing pond by the bridge. Definitely check out the tour offered for guests. it’s a great way to learn about the history. Breakfast was a treat and the staff made our stay even better.
The suite didn't quite accommodate my friend's mobility challenges, which was a bit disappointing.

The room was a nice size with central AC, which was great. We initially had a grubby room but got moved to a bigger one in the main building with wooden floors and a four-poster bed. The bathroom was oddly shaped, and I wasn’t a fan of the shower over the bathtub. But overall, it was comfortable enough for our stay, and breakfast was awesome.

Perfect for a Romantic Getaway
The staff was friendly and cute, moreso than I would’ve expected. The garden view from our Beautiful Queen Room was just amazing, it really felt like we had stepped back in time with the historic charm surrounding us.
It wasn’t exactly wallet-friendly, but the experience made it worth every cent.

charming stay with captivating history
The grounds were breathtaking, especially the beautiful garden view that added a serene touch to our stay. The guided tour provided deep insights into the local history, making it a memorable experience that I wish more places offered.
The season might limit some outdoor enjoyment.
